Florence M. Alvarez
Academic Coordinator
With more than 15 years of experience in teaching English in various areas, I have dedicated myself to accompanying students of all ages and from different backgrounds. I also keep myself in constant training, which allows me to offer updated teaching focused on those students who want to prepare for international exams. My foray into virtual teaching began in 2019, which allowed me to develop a solid experience in online classes. In addition, my experience as a coordinator at an international institution has allowed me to acquire knowledge of curricular design and evaluation of institutional objectives. Likewise, I have been in charge of the training and professional development of a teaching team, especially providing tools for teaching in this digital age. Academic training: Bachelor's degree as an English teacher (Universidad Nacional de Río Cuarto, Argentina) with the recognition of Outstanding Student and Best Average. Acquisition of a scholarship in the area of linguistic research (Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes, Mexico).
"I believe that students should be the protagonists of their own learning, and I focus on providing them with the necessary tools to become autonomous learners, confident in their abilities and capable of facing challenges on their own."

Natalia Gonzalez Brandi
Managing Director
I began my studies at Anglo Montevideo, where I completed the Anglo Diploma in Teaching English in 2008 and 2009. In 2014, I completed the Cambridge Diploma in Teaching English and later, in 2016, I obtained the certification in in-service teacher training from the International House World Organisation, based in London, England. I have worked as a Director of Studies in different institutions both in Montevideo and Argentina. In 2021, I started working on my own business: Online English Uy. Since 2024, I have been providing independent services as a consultant, having worked successfully with Colegio Maldonado in this modality. I enjoy giving presentations both nationally and internationally, having presented at IATEFL in the United Kingdom and Braztesol in Brazil, among others.
"I firmly believe that for language learning to be effective, it is essential to spark students' interest and motivate them to use the language. Just as driving cannot be learned through theory alone, language learning also requires active practice."

Heather Jeanne Seltzer
Teacher
I have over 10 years of experience in teaching English as a second language, having worked as a teacher, senior lecturer, director of studies and teacher trainer in various international settings. I have developed curricula and training programmes to ensure up-to-date and effective methodologies. In Ecuador, I collaborated with a government programme to prepare students for the IELTS and facilitate their access to universities abroad. In Argentina, I specialised in international exam preparation, business English and conversational English. In addition, I have led teaching teams and contributed to the development of innovative teaching strategies. I use different teaching methods that help students learn naturally, such as working in pairs, doing real-life tasks and practising through conversation. I also use effective techniques that help students remember the language and use it in real life, rather than just memorising rules. In addition, I create a warm and supportive environment where students can try, fail and learn with confidence. Academic qualifications: CELTA, DELTA Module 1 and 2 Pass with Merit, Speaking Examiner.
"I truly love helping people achieve their goals. It warms my heart to see my students accomplish great things, things they were once afraid of."
